Turkey's Exports Are Dramatically Falling

8 January 2009 - The Turkish textile and clothing industries are now facing very strong difficulties after enjoying prosperity in the past years. Large groups announced they will exit the textile sector as competition surges from China and other Asian and Mediterranean countries. The fall of the lira is not really supporting exports, only reflecting a looming financial crisis in the country.
