Herringbone fabric is one of the most popular cloths used for pocketing.
05 October 2008 - Polyester staple fiber prices were lowered by mid-September in Pakistan in line with the current trend in the global market. 4 February 2009 - There are new signs emerging of rampant textile trade protectionism, as a result of falling export sales in Asia, Latin America, and elsewhere in the world. Import restrictions were recently imposed by Argentine, Turkey, Indonesia or Egypt while a series of anti-dumping investigations were being launched on the polyester market. The most controversial development could however affect the United States where a Buy American provision was introduced in the Obama Stimulus Plan for restricting procurement of certain uniforms to only 100% US goods.
