Cotton Yarn Prices in Pakistan

5 February 2009 - Cotton yarn prices surged in the past days in Pakistan, reflecting a much stronger demand from the international market and higher cotton prices in the country, our Correspondent reports. Polyester-cotton prices stayed unchanged in the last weeks, under pressure of lower polyester prices until they were raised on February 2nd.

Finance Minister of Pakistan Mr Asad Umar said that the tax reforms strategy will be introduced by the government of Pakistan to increase tax base in the country.
