Wool Market Prices in Australia, South Africa and New Zealand

6 February 2009 - Wool prices declined this week in US$ terms in Australia and New Zealand. Demand is weak, especially from Europe where textile recession takes its toll on consumption of wool fibers. Fine-type microns fell while medium micron prices rose at the same time. A seasonal lack of supply is limiting the current retreat of prices.
