Spun Yarn Prices In China

5 February 2009 - Spun yarn prices were relatively stable in China, in the first days following the Lunar Year holidays. Demand remains very weak from downstream processors as production is being slowly relaunched. Spun polyester yarn prices are however rising, in line with a sudden increase in staple fiber prices. Demand for spun yarns should steadily rise in the coming weeks.
